Description

This small fragment of baize cloth comes from a much larger piece that was reportedly removed from Titanic as a souvenir by a merchant seaman while wandering the ship during her fitting out in Belfast, Ireland.

There are several places onboard where this fabric would have been used, including lining the tops of gaming tables in the First Class Smoking Room.
